During my time at Pixomondo Stuttgart, I had the chance to work on this project as a sequence lead compositor.
During my time at Pixomondo Stuttgart I had the chance to work on this project as a compositor.
As part of a film production during my studies, I worked as a DIT on set and as a VFX Editor and Compositor during postproduction.
To improve my skills, I moddeled and rigged this cuddly toy Giraffe in Maya and rendered a walk cycle with Arnold to test the rig, the shaders and the fur. Then I shoot the footage with my Canon 70D and did the matchmove and compositing in NukeX.
As part of a film production during my studies, I created a Stop Motion short film in a small team. I made the 3D printed characters, the CG ball and was responsible for all compositing tasks.
Because the film is still running at festivals, it is currently not online.
For my final project as a media designer, I developed the corporate design for a fictional beverage brand.
I improved the PlanarProjection Gizmo (developed by Vit Sedlacek) by adding a function which allows you to set the 3D points in the viewer manually, based on the choosen PPos pass. Furthermore, I added some new options for calculation and export.
convert the selected camera as a copy into a still camera for the current frame. You can change the frame with a slider.
creates a Node which is linked (hides input by default) to the selected Node. Choose between NoOp, PostageStamp or Dot and different tile colors. I recommend to apply a shortcut in the meny.py for a quicker use.
This Gizmo combines the usual Project3D / UVProject setup for quicker use.
With this little script you can quickly change any knob values for selected or all Nodes. Sorry for bugs! It is just a beta version at the moment!
adds additional shutdown options for after render process to the selected Write Node. Just select a Write Node and run the script. Works on Windows only at the moment!
Adds to the default Backdrop Node a new Tab for choosing different tile colors
I started my career in 2007 by training as a media designer for digital- and print media at Macromedia in Stuttgart.
Subsequently I worked for two and a half years as a 3D generalist at Lightshape in Echterdingen.
From March 2013 on, I studied Audiovisual Media at the Stuttgart Media University and finished with my bachelor thesis about OpenColorIO and the ACES workflow, in 2016.
I worked as a vfx compositor and lead compositor for various companies such as Pixomondo, RiseFX and Digital Domain 3.0.
In the last couple of years, I worked on several feature films and tv series (e.g. Avengers - Infinity War and Endgame, Morbius, Game of Thrones, Captain America - Civil War, Live by Night, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, Bridge of Spies, Free Guy).
I live in Vancouver (Premanent Resident) since 2017.
