Nuke - Python Scripts / Gizmos



I improved the PlanarProjection Gizmo (developed by Vit Sedlacek) by adding a function which allows you to set the 3D points in the viewer manually, based on the choosen PPos pass. Furthermore, I added some new options for calculation and export.

convert the selected camera as a copy into a still camera for the current frame. You can change the frame with a slider.

creates a Node which is linked (hides input by default) to the selected Node. Choose between NoOp, PostageStamp or Dot and different tile colors. I recommend to apply a shortcut in the meny.py for a quicker use.

With this little script you can quickly change any knob values for selected or all Nodes. Sorry for bugs! It is just a beta version at the moment!

About Me

Start Falk Lude

I started my career in 2007 by training as a media designer for digital- and print media at Macromedia in Stuttgart.
Subsequently I worked for two and a half years as a 3D generalist at Lightshape in Echterdingen.

From March 2013 on, I studied Audiovisual Media at the Stuttgart Media University and finished with my bachelor thesis about OpenColorIO and the ACES workflow, in 2016.
I worked as a vfx compositor and lead compositor for various companies such as Pixomondo, RiseFX and Digital Domain 3.0.

In the last couple of years, I worked on several feature films and tv series (e.g. Avengers - Infinity War and Endgame, Morbius, Game of Thrones, Captain America - Civil War, Live by Night, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, Bridge of Spies, Free Guy).

I live in Vancouver (Premanent Resident) since 2017.
